Baby Bloom is the counterpart to our all time favourite Bloom Stacking Vessel.
Baby Bloom can be disassembled into a glass vase and wooden bowl.
Designed and prototyped in 2022.

The materials come to our warehouse in Germany where they are fitted and assembled.
Opalin colour
The colour on our Baby Bloom is made from colour rods, giving us a wide variety of choice.
Opacity
The colour bar is heated in the glass oven until it is malleable. Once it is soft enough it is dropped on another iron with a small amount of clear glass and the beginning of the bubble centred inside it.
We aim for blowing the colour density so that the colour is pearlescent and milky, but still slightly transparent.
Blowing out
Over the colour we gather two more layers of hot glass, trapping it within the clear glass. '
The majority of glass mass is pushed to the bottom of the bubble to give the finished vase a heavy base to stand on.
