Inanna is an ancient Mesopotamian goddess associated with love, beauty, justice and political power.
A strong symbol for this curvy Stacking Vessel which comes to complete the Matisse triptych.
Inanna can be unstacked to form a curvy vase and a small wooden container.
Designed and prototyped in 2020.

Mould blowing
Inanna is blown in a wooden mould, allowing it to take on it curvaceous body.
Mould making
Each wooden mould is turned into a solid wood block. This is kept wet to protect it from burning and allow for a fine layer of fumes to form between wood and glass.
