Nani

HANDBLOWN GLASS, CZECHIA/ HANDSPUN METAL, UK / HANDTURNED WOOD, FINLAND

The Nani Stacking Vessel features an archaic yet simple silhouette, combining elegance and slenderness despite its impressive large scale. Its clean lines and balanced proportions evoke a sense of timelessness and refined minimalism.

Designed for versatility, Nani disassembles into three distinct components: a tall hand-blown glass vase, a spun metal bowl, and a turned wooden bowl. This modular design blends functional artistry with sculptural beauty, perfect for collectors and lovers of contemporary craft.

Metal spinning is the pushing of solid metal sheets over a given shape.
It requires a lot of skill and a steady hand and simple tools.

Edge finishing

Rim

Our metal bowls are particular in that they have a freehand shaped metal rim, allowing for the glass to locate on the metal bowl.

Finishing

We work with various finishes, ranging from linished and waxed to oxidised (patina).
