The piece can be taken apart to form a large glass vase, a large metal bowl and a small wooden container.

Glass Sculpting
Sculpting on a diamond wheel
Stainless metal wheels finely dusted with diamond are used to cut glass. The process involves a lot of water, as the wheel has to be kept wet at all times to prevent from overheating.
Repetition
Line after line the surface is ornamented. Markings on the surface indicate the general direction to inform the cutters hand. but the work requires a steady eye and hand.
